Main Responsibilities

• Able to work in a fast moving, agile environment, implementing best-practice testing, test automation and BDD practices.
• Designing and developing test automation scripts
• Follow BDD methodology to create automated regression tests and, if something will be tested more than once then automate it
• Contributing to planning, design and implementation of testing frameworks.
• Scripting automated tests and working collaboratively with other engineers in a continuous build environment.
• Collaborating with QA Analysts and Software Developers to develop solutions.
• Keeping updated with the latest industry developments

Required Skills & Experience

• Previous experience as QA Engineer
• 2 years experience on Test Automation Tools and Building Frameworks
• BA/BSc in Computer Science or related degree
• Excellent written and spoken English skills
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
• Dedicated, motivated and reliable team player

• A great communicator and an enthusiastic approach to testing with a passion to improve
• Deep understanding of web technologies, including web services, web application services and RESTful APIs, message brokers (e.g. RabbitMQ) and NoSQL datastores (e.g. MongoDB).
• Experienced in testing APIs and building automated API test suites, using Postman/RestAssured
• Familiar with Git and continuous integration tools like Jenkins and GitLab
• Proficiency in programming languages, preferably Java
• Extensive experience using Selenium and building Cucumber frameworks
• Have excellent communication and client relationship skills
• Have worked in an environment of continuous integration
• Work in an agile way and hands on with Jira.
• Exposure performance testing tools and frameworks, such as JMeter
• Able to maintain good communication and interaction with stakeholders for automation scripting
• Good analytical and planning skills
