Job Description

The main aim of the role is to align with ongoing production and repair departmental requirements dependent on customer demand. It offers inhouse training covering all elements of production/repair work carried out by ECM systems.

Secondary role will include cross departmental work in both our busy customer service and stores departments of which additional training will be given as required

Qualifications

  • A good level of understanding of IT, software and hardware. Experience using word/excel would be advantageous.
  • An established grounding in working with electronics, basic soldering skills, PCB and hardware assembly, experience in computer repair and maintenance
  • Own a Full driving license with additional forklift driving license been advantageous.
  • Applicant needs to be flexible in nature with a high level of motivation to learn.
  • Thorough attention to detail with the ability to troubleshoot and problem solve IT related issues.
  • Ability to work on their own discretion or as part of a team.
  • IT/Electronic/Electrical related qualifications would be advantageous on application, but not essential as full training will be given inhouse.

Additional Information

Priority Key elements to Role.

  • Triage of handheld tablets, server-based work which would include fault diagnosis, troubleshooting and set-up of replacement devices to be returned to our customers.
  • Modular component repair of tablet/PC electronics, hardware troubleshooting and repair.
  • Accurate and detailed logging of records using spreadsheets.
  • Repair and maintenance of various electrical components and hardware.

Secondary Key elements to Role

  • Cable making and PCB and hardware assembly.
  • Covering aspects of work within our stores department, including Booking In, dispatch, stock control, data entry and packing.
  • Covering aspects of Field service support as a 2nd engineer which would include traveling to site, installation of IT equipment, wiring and troubleshooting issues liaison with technical support.
