Playtech Sports specialises in the provision of online betting and gaming software to UK and global service providers. Responsibilities:

• Understanding and identifying strengths/weaknesses of the sportsbook product
• Analysing business cases, regulatory and other relevant documentation
• Detailed requirements gathering and definition in discussion with the Product and Tech teams
• Writing comprehensive reports and analysis of findings and recommendations
• Working with & guiding digital solutions, UI/UX and development teams 
• Liaise & advise Executive Management, Operator, Trading, Developer, Testing, Design & Marketing teams
• Identify and advise stakeholders on technology solutions
• Use analytics and measurement tools as the basis for recommendations
• Continually monitoring industry best practice, licensing and compliance
• Documenting software systems and business processes
• Generating and maintaining a library of supporting evidence for regulatory audits and submissions
• Specific focus on US regulatory analysis
• Coordinating sportsbook activities in response to ad-hoc and cyclical regulatory audits
• Liaising with external auditors and regulators to ensure compliant sportsbook releases in all active jurisdictions
• Auditing new product specifications and inserting regulatory provisions/exclusions
• Liaising with Playtech Compliance in all matters pertaining to GDPR, software suppliers, regulatory change, and potential regulatory breaches
• Specifying software and process amendments in response to regulatory change
• Specifying software and process amendments in readiness for operating in new jurisdictions

Ideal candidate will have:

• Knowledge of the sports betting industry and broadly experienced in Online & Retail operations
• Proven Business Analysis experience with a strong focus on technology in highly transactional products (Data, Trading, Finance, Sports Betting etc)
• Strong requirements analysis and specification writing skills
• Experience with Jira
• Ability to communicate with stakeholders, operators, developers, solutions and designers.
• Creative thinking backed by strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
• Good attention to detail, an ability to assimilate, sort and aggregate complex information quickly 
• Effective verbal and written communication skills, able to write clearly and interact well with all levels of audience. 
• An understanding of software development an ability to work closely with Technology teams in scheduling functional and non-functional requirements. 
• Self-driven, and ability to work at pace in a dynamic organisation
• Ability to understand user experience and the implications UX/UI design can have on a user's behaviour
• Working knowledge or Google Analytics and GA4 
• Ability to connect multiple data sources in order to produce a high-level summary of complex scenarios
• Desire to proactively solve difficult data problems
