Job Description

Reporting to the CFO for our B2C business in Gibraltar, we are looking for a superstar Financial Controller to join our growing team. Working closely with the CFO and our Finance teams some of your day-to-day responsibilities will include: 

  • Financial reporting – preparation and analyze of daily/monthly/yearly financial reports per operations. Identify results, trends, and financial forecasts
  • Financial controlling – financial controlling of costs related to local company
  • Budget – preparing annual budget for local company and offshore operations
  • Cost allocation – costs allocation (include offshore companies) 
  • Payment to suppliers – responsibility for all affiliate marketing payments include provisions and legal aspects
  • Prepare quarterly review and budget presentations and assist in the cascading down of key initiatives
  • Assist in the preparation of board of directors and executive leadership presentation materials
  • Provide support for the company’s quarterly reporting requirements

Qualifications

Some of the skills/experience you will require in order to be successful in this position include: 

  • Requires an undergraduate degree in finance, accounting, economics or similar. ACCA or similar or equivalent work experience.
  • Work experience as a FC or in a similar role within a finance/accounting department
  • Must possess a strong ability to synthesize complex or diverse information
  • Desire to understand the business and work effectively with multiple departments
  • Can communicate effectively both in written and verbal forms
  • Ability to educate, inform and influence cross-functional middle managers through written/ verbal communications
  • Advanced use of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
