Job Description

Junior Test/Support Analyst required to join our Bingo Service Delivery Team in Holborn. You will have strong analytical and interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a wide range of people, from Software Developers and Support Engineers to Account Managers for dedicated Bingo operators.

The main purpose of this role is to carry out functional testing of our software product enhancement requests that are developed by Bingo Service Delivery team and provide support to end users as well as ensuring our live content remains compliant with daily monitoring checks.

The main duties and responsibilities in this role will include, but are not limited to: -

  • Review enhancement requests sent to the Service Delivery team
  • Prepare test estimations against tasks needed to test enhancement requests
  • Derive and prepare test cases to adequately test the enhancement requests
  • Fault logging, escalation and monitoring of issues coming to Service Delivery team
  • Support the Bingo Service Delivery team with ad-hoc requests from external customers
  • Daily monitoring of live games to ensure they are compliant under gambling law

Experience & Qualifications

Essential skills

  • ISEB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing (Or equivalent)
  • Manual/Exploratory Testing & Automation Testing
  • Functional Testing & Regression Testing
  • Excellent communication skills (Will be working with various teams)
  • Jira for Defects & Project Management/Time Tracking
  • TestRail for Test Case Scripting

Desirable skills

  • Interest in working in the gambling/iGaming industry
  • Some experience in working in an Agile methodology

The technical division of our Playtech Bingo office currently comprises of 3 Agile teams, which consist of Java/Scala Server Side developers, Front End developers, QA Engineers and Testers, Automation Testers, Product Owners, Scrum Masters, DevOps Engineers and Technical Architects.

These teams are supported by infrastructure specialists which consists of Linux Systems Administrators, Site Reliability Engineers, WebLogic Administrators and Database Administrators.
