Job Description
About the Role
You will be the lead infrastructure engineer in the business unit, reporting to the CTO.
In this senior, client-facing role, we would expect you to be:
A highly skilled engineer assisting our customers in designing, implementing and managing high-availability, on-premise and cloud infrastructure to host our solutions
An excellent written and verbal communicator, who will prepare high-quality technical documents and build productive relationships with our customers’ technical managers
An expert consultant providing guidance, advice and assistance to our technical services and development teams in matters relating to infrastructure
Able to manage and prioritise a variety of tasks and projects
A team player who is adaptable and able to work with a wide range of people and problems
You will be expected to travel globally for approximately 30-45 days per year, up to 10 days per trip.

A breadth of experience designing and implementing high-availability infrastructure
Excellent knowledge of VMware, Azure, Windows, IIS and SQL Server
A skilled problem solver who works well with other people and is committed to the cause
Experience with the following would be desirable:
Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud Platform
Microsoft Service Fabric or other microservices orchestration
Linux
Rabbit MQ
Azure DevOps or Octopus Deploy
