Job Description

  • Operational support of our custom application
  • 3rd point of contact in issues analysis and coordination of their solving
  • Release management in co-operation with our development and product management teams
  • Performing application deployments independently, including configuration and documentation (Kubernetes and IIS)
  • Further development of backup, monitoring and alert systems as well as security measures
  • Support the continuous improvement of our processes and customer solutions.
  • Software Patch Management of the external hosted infrastructure
  • Coordination and implementation of the VPN connection with external data center
  • Assigned issue tracking via Jira
  • Detailed and precise log analyzing

 

Qualifications

  • Readiness to work on-call is mandatory (every 4-5 Weeks)
  • Team player with the ability to work with other technical teams inside the company 
  • Very good knowledge in English written and spoken
  • Personal drive to learn new technologies (e.g. Kubernetes)
  • Experience with Microsoft IIS
  • Basic network knowledge (working in cooperation with Infrastructure Team on issues analyze)
  • Experience in MS SQL Server, T-SQL) is an advantage but not a must
  • Knowledge in PowerShell, Linux would be a benefit
  • PRTG (Monitoring System) knowledge would be a benefit
  • Container Technologies (Kubernetes), Rancher would be a benefit
  • Elastic search – Kibana, basic knowledge would be a benefit
