Job Description

As a Junior Casino Product Owner your main duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

·       Working with Product, Marketing, Operations, Technology and any additional internal and external stakeholders, as the main point of contact for requirements and story definition, backlog grooming and preparing acceptance criteria.

·        Maintaining the team backlog; with input from solutions architects, general stakeholders and Product Managers you will be primarily responsible for building, editing and maintaining the team backlog.

·        Accepting stories; you will assure that any story delivered has the necessary level of quality and is fit for purpose by validating that the story meets the acceptance criteria and complies with its Definition of Done.

·       Understanding enabler work; even though you will not be expected to drive technical decisions, you will need to understand the scope of work and collaborate with solution architects or developers to assist with decision-making or delivering new business functionality.

·       Daily Stand-up Meetings – with support from Product Managers, you will be responsible for running daily stand-up meetings with our development team representatives in order to verify daily progress for each of our streams of work, that development is in line with requirements and whether they have encountered any issues or blockers which are preventing progress.

·       Participation in Team Ceremonies such as System Demo’s and Retrospectives – as the person responsible for requirements and acceptance criteria, our Product Owner will play a key role in team demo, reviewing and accepting stories.

·        Continuously develop Casino Product Knowledge – you will be expected to learn about Playtech’s Casino offering, our internal systems, processes, ways of working etc and translate these findings into documents and training guides.

·        Contribution to our Casino Product Vision & Roadmap – your passion for product and providing an exceptional customer experience, particularly for mobile/web product features, UX & UI and developing innovation should be conveyed as product feature proposals for our roadmap.

·        Working with wider teams – in order to understand customer behaviour, business drivers, product needs, product strategy and business requests/cases you will be expected to work with wider teams and translate these requirements into stories within our Casino Product backlog.

 Champion Innovation – you will be expected to research, define and recommend Casino Product specific innovation of new technologies and features which will enhance our current offering and improve customer experience

Qualifications

Specialist Skills & Experience Required:

·       Fundamental:

·       Experience in product management within the gaming industry

·        A robust understanding of Casino customer needs and the European customer landscape

·        Knowledge and experience of working with AGILE or SAFe, including a solid grasp of the Product Owner role within these frameworks.

·        Experience in defining business requirements both for technical and user requests in the context of software and application development.

·        Strong analytical and problem-solving skill set, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret user/business needs and translate these into application and operational requirements.

·       Good attention to detail; you must be able to assimilate, sort and aggregate complex information quickly

·       Excellent presentation and documentation skills

·       Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines

·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group, executives, managers, and subject matter expert

·        Strong relationship management skills

·        Experience of working with UX/UI teams to produce high quality UX artefacts as part of the product delivery process

·       Strong teamwork, co-ordination, planning and influencing skill

·        Must be self-driven and able to work within a fast paced and dynamic organisation
