Job Description
Playtech Global Security is looking for an Information Security Engineer to join our Infrastructure Security team. As an Information Security Engineer you will be responsible over planning, implementing and maintaining security measures and controls in order to protect the company’s computer systems, networks and data; as well as prevent data loss and service interruptions as a result of security breaches.
The Daily Tasks
- Identify, research, explore and lead the evaluation and implementation of new projects and existing best of breed security technologies within the security organization
- Create strategic solutions within Playtech Group (and its subsidiaries) corporate and production environments, leveraging innovation, automation and orchestration practices
- Management and assessment of security risks across the company’s networks and recommend remediation and corrective actions.
- Address questions from internal and external audits and examinations.
- Promote and develop awareness for different security risks and best practices across the company.
- Work hands-on over leading security systems and controls
- Design, implement and lead and the Vulnerability Management program globally
Qualifications
- Passion about cyber security threats, mitigations and protection of large, dynamic and complex infrastructure
- Persistence in improving the current state (learn, evaluate and implement new technologies)
- Strategic and big picture thinking, always thinking several steps ahead (to get better results with fewer actions)
- Proven experience in administering security controls in an organization.
- Knowledge of technical infrastructure, networks, databases and systems in relation to Security and Risk.
- Experience in leading ISO 27001:2013 and PCI:DSS certification exercises – from gap analysis, design, implementation to mock audits.
- Extensive knowledge of and experience with IT Security, Networking, Firewalls, Web content filtering, Endpoint protection suite, Database Security, SIEM, DLP, IDS/IPS, Operating Systems (Windows, Linux and mac) hardening, Cloud Security, Risk Assessment, Vulnerability and Patch management Security Incident handling and Response.
