Your role in a nutshell:

Chief Technology Officer at Playbook Engineering is responsible for overseeing the technological direction, innovation, and operations of the platform, ensuring its reliability, scalability, security, and continuous improvement to meet the evolving needs of the gaming industry and regulatory requirements.
As a CTO, you're the key decision-maker when it comes to technology selection and technology strategy. You determine which technologies, both current and emerging, can best serve the platform's objectives. This means staying updated on industry trends and ensuring that your team is trained and equipped to handle the latest tools and practices.

What keeps you busy during the day:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with the company's objectives, fostering innovation, and staying ahead of industry trends.
• Lead the design, development, and deployment of new features and enhancements to our B2B platform, ensuring it remains competitive and user-friendly.
• Build and lead a high-performing technology team of approximately 60 staff members, fostering a culture of collaboration, growth, and excellence.
• Define and manage the technology roadmap, setting clear milestones and priorities to achieve business goals.
• Ensure the platform's security measures and compliance with industry standards and regulations are maintained and continuously improved.
• Oversee the infrastructure's performance, reliability, and scalability to handle growing customer demands.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest technology advancements, identify potential applications, and drive innovation across the organization.

Skills and experience required to be successful in this role include:

• You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields.
• You have proven experience in a senior technology leadership role within the betting or gaming industry.
• Your strong technical background is accompanied by hands-on experience in software development, architecture design, and system integrations.
• Your expertise lies in building and scaling high-performance, reliable, and secure platforms.
• Your track record showcases successful leadership and mentoring of cross-functional technology teams.
• You possess a deep understanding of industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and data security standards.
• Your exceptional communication skills allow you to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• You have a visionary mindset, strategic thinking, and the ability to adapt to the ever-changing technology landscape.
• Your passion for the betting industry is coupled with a genuine interest in leveraging technology to enhance user experiences.
