Sales Director North America 100% (m/f)

Job Description

Pitcher has a vertical structure from a commercial operations perspective and focuses on the Life Sciences, Consumer Goods, Manufacturing and Financial Services industries. As Sales Director North America you will be responsible for the acquisition and development of enterprise customers in the region. You will be selling the full suite of the Pitcher products.

Responsibilities include:

  • Exceeding regional sales targets for North America
  • Building up and managing a regional sales team
  • Recruiting and developing team members
  • Market research, vertical prioritization and execution of sales strategy
  • Support and development of existing customers
  • Managing the end-to-end sales process 
  • Value based selling through ROI calculations and business case development
  • Understanding customer requirements through pragmatic research of user requirements (e.g. accompanying users in field for several days)
  • Solution selling to build long-term relationships with customers while delivering short-term results
  • Participation in and organisation of industry-focused events
  • Ensuring customer success on an ongoing basis through in-person meetings and through involvement of the appropriate departments (project management, support, customer success, engineering etc.) 

Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree
  • Proven track record of recruiting and leading a sales team
  • Proven track record of exceeding sales team quota
  • Previous experience in B2B software sales
  • Excellent communication skills, high degree of self-motivation
  • Independence, entrepreneurial mindset
  • Strong technology experience with cloud, enterprise solutions
  • Fluency English is mandatory, other languages are a plus
