Taking of reservations 
Escorting guests to their tables and assist them in seating by pulling out their chairs
Inform guests of any specials once they are seated
In case of heavy incoming traffic, ask the waiter of the relevant section to escort the guests to their table
Ensure Table distribution should is spread out when reserving tables at the same time
Never compromise the table distribution for alliances with any member of staff
Be able to give clear and concise directions to R.S.V.P restaurant
Prepare the seating assignment on a daily basis and inform management of any VIP bookings
Understand clearly any guest request or complaints that arise and pass them on to the headwaiter and floor manager when necessary
Ensure that the standard table layout is always respected and never overcrowd the bar with additional high chairs
Ensure that staff noise levels are always at a minimum
Ensure that waiters are in their positions and that clustering is not permissible
Prepare set menus based on management guidelines and communicate offers with guests
Be responsible for R.S.V.P. Info mailing list and reply to requests and queries based on guidelines set by management
Assist floor manager in daily checklists and duties and ensure that all SOPs are followed before each shift, on a daily basis

Preferred candidate:
•    Must be a graduate.
•    Must have a minimum of 2 year’s experience as a Hostess in the Hospitality Industry
•    Excellent Organizational skill and emotional intelligence
•    Ability to work weekend and night.
•    Excellent Communication skill
