PPS customer is a growing food production company. 

The Industrial Electrician is responsible for electrical maintenance of machinery and the factory facility in an efficient, safe and environmentally sound manner.  This position will also support the packaging facility for all electrical needs. The Industrial Electrician will be installing and maintaining electrical systems in and around the factory and packaging facilities.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Oversee capital equipment installations, set up and maintenance. 
• Program PLC's and manage control systems and automation
• Oversee and maintain instrumentation, valves, etc.
• Install and/or oversee installation of conduits, fixtures, and other electrical devices and systems in an industrial setting. 
• Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters ad voltmeters to ensure compatibility and safety of systems.
• Must be able to perform preventative maintenance duties such as oiling motors, bending and installing conduit and cleaning circuit boards and contacts.
• Advise management on whether continued operation of equipment could be hazardous. 
• Must be able to install and service VFD’s, fuse blocks, fuses, relays and other electrical field devices.

·         State of Michigan Electrical License as a Journeyman or Master Electrician

·         Industrial experience, including knowledge in motor control, relay logic, PLC logic and computer based motor and process control system

·         High School diploma or equivalent

·         Excellent hand-eye coordination

·         Ability to perform physically demanding work and lift up to 50 pounds
