PPS customer is a growing Manufacturing Company. 

POSITION (Must haves) SUMMARY:

• Daily execution of activities for the Procurement of all direct, indirect materials and services. 
o Aerospace or Automotive Experience preferred

• Inventory Management, & Supplier development Experience

• Systems:
o SAP systems experience including systems triggers and settings alignment that optimize utilization aspects
o Oracle or Epicor Experience operational functionality

• Experience in SIOP / Forecasting and Planning / Production Pegging / Demand Planning

 Cost Definition, Procurement Planning enhancements supporting Internal Customers as well as New / Repeat Program / Quoting project management following the defined Standard Work defined by the Procurement Manager.

 Experience with Cost Reductions, Mitigating Supplier Risks, Effective Inventory Management, Supplier Quality Adherence, and defining a road map to Procurement Department Improvements

• Bachelor’s degree in business required preferred
• Strong background in Supplier Chain Planning Management, Negotiations, Production Planning, Inventory Management and Supplier Developed required in a manufacturing environment
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Strong computer skills, including Excel, SAP, and Oracle experience.
• Good organizational skills as well as project management experience.
• Strong analytical problem solving abilities required.
• 3-5 years purchasing experience in a domestic and global Procurement / Materials environment

CPM or CPIM Preferred.
