PPS customer is a growing Data Management Company. 

What you will be doing

•Developing, configuring, maintaining, and supporting applications to support core insurance systems (Guidewire), supporting applications (document imaging, Thunderhead document production, etc.), or other internal systems (intranet based applications, corporate website, mobile app, etc).

•Working in an agile development environment in a strong team setting that supports a greater, overall team structure.

• Hands on development on a varying platforms.

•Bachelors Degree, preferably in Computer Science, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

•Strong documentation skills. Able to interpret business requirements and produce technical design documentation that demonstrates their ability to complete the appropriate programming steps to fulfill requirements.

•5 or more years of professional experience developing in a Java or Microsoft object-oriented web based environment using technologies such as Gosu, Java, C#, XML, and MS SQL Server.

•Strong knowledge of web technologies: HTML, CSS, Javascript, AJAX, JQuery, JSON, XML, XSD, XSLT, etc.

•Experience with Web Services: design, development and use. Experience with both SOAP and REST protocols.

•Strong object-oriented design skills: class design and diagrams, strong maintainability, reusability and extensibility.

•Ability to work in a team oriented, project driven, agile development environment with multiple active tasks at any one time.

•Experience with application servers such as WebSphere, Tomcat, or JBOSS.

•Experience with SQL, MS SQL Databases, stored procedures, etc.

• Experience with Guidewire is a plus!
