Job Description
The Manager, Safety Operations leads the organization's enterprise safety analytics, reporting, and performance improvement initiatives. This role oversees safety analysts and safety program resources responsible for monitoring workplace safety performance, identifying emerging risks, and developing data-driven strategies to prevent incidents and injuries.
Essential Job Functions
- Lead and develop a team of safety professionals and analysts responsible for enterprise safety programs, reporting, risk assessment, and performance improvement initiatives.
- Help guide the strategic direction for safety analytics, performance metrics, and reporting processes to identify risks, monitor trends, and improve safety outcomes across the organization.
- Oversee enterprise safety data governance, including data quality, validation, reporting integrity, and maintenance of safety dashboards and business intelligence tools.
- Direct the analysis of incidents, audits, inspections, and near-miss events to identify root causes, emerging risks, and opportunities for corrective and preventive action.
- Partner with Operations, HR, Security, Risk Management, and business leaders to implement data-driven safety programs and foster a proactive safety culture.
- Ensure compliance with applicable OSHA, DOT, environmental, and other regulatory requirements by supporting audit readiness, reporting obligations, and safety program standards.
- Evaluate and improve the effectiveness of safety initiatives through performance measurement, benchmarking, predictive analytics, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Provide executive leadership with strategic recommendations and performance reporting to support enterprise risk management, operational excellence, and long-term safety objectives.

- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
- At least 5 Years' Experience
