Job Description

The Manager of DevOps Automation leads the development and strategy of automated continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. This leader determines and evangelizes various release processes and analyzes the integration of various release tools.

Responsibilities:

·        Develop and evangelize Automation Center for Enablement, which includes Operating Model and Developer Self Service

·        Enable speed to delivery through Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), Infrastructure as Code (IaC), other automation tools and enterprise best practices

·        Establish consistent and repeatable release processes, standards and governance

·        Monitor and govern changes to the Technology Ecosystem

·        Facilitate releases through various development, test, and production environments

·        Understand multi-level failure scenarios that can result from release activities

·        Analyze and mitigate release-related downtime and risks

·        Develop documentation to be used with release requests and production support

·        Effectively communicate release and change requirements and plans to various IT and Business stakeholders

·        Build relationships and coordinate releases with Project Managers, IT Solution Owners, Product Owners, Architects, Infrastructure and other stakeholders

·        Effective leadership and development through coaching and managing of direct reports

·        Lead continuous process improvement across teams, including key performance indicator tracking of speed and efficiency gains

Qualifications

·        7+ years of expertise and leadership in and DevOps delivery

·        2+ years strong project management skills with accountability for end-to-end project lifecycles

·        Experience in governing both Waterfall and Agile/Scrum projects

·        Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD), Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and automation tools

·        Experience with Jira and Confluence for cross-team project/task management and documentation

·        Knowledge of ITIL standards and best practices
