Our swine and layer farms employ advanced production systems, with automated feeding and drinking systems. Climate control is achieved in the barns through tunnel ventilation and evaporative cooling system. Our swine genetic program and pullet source selection on the other hand, ensures that we only produce quality market hogs and layers. Strict biosecurity measures are also in place to protect the animals from bacterial and viral disease exposure.

Job Description
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs preventive and correction maintenance activities on plant equipment and machineries ensuring the efficient running and prolong service life of the machines and equipment.
Conducts problem solving activities on causes and corrective measures for mechanical variances. Solicits the advice of Maintenance Supervisor for problems that remain unsolved.
Conducts routine inspection of machinery and equipment operating parameters as prescribed, initiates corrective measures on any abnormality.
Performs scheduled lubrication works on plant equipment and machineries.
Designs and monitors any mechanical fabrication and installation works.
Maintains spare parts inventory and prepares a list of required parts to be ordered.
Analyzes spare parts received prior to storage ensuring that these are of good quality and have correct specifications.
Ensures that all accomplished work orders and other records are documented, up to date, and accurate.
Attend emergency service requests and night calls as needed.
Ensures the plant is 5S compliant. Assists in leading 5S improvement
Assists in supervision of contractors in performance of contracted works ensuring quality workmanship and specification.
Performs and leads the start-up of plant equipment.
Performs other related works in carrying out the objective of his position and as may be assigned by immediate superior.
Ensures all important matters are turned over to incoming shift engineer
Monitors and analyzes the following consumptions: fuel, water, effluent, power consumption to detect any abnormality in consumption based on plant layout.
Supports in ensuring the repair and maintenance cost is within the monthly budget.
Initiates (once approved) any plant innovations and improvement to help minimize operating cost.
FOOD SAFETY:
- Ensures execution of quality, Halal, health and food safety policy, standards and regulations within the team.
- Responsible for reporting problems related to Halal, food safety & quality management system to identified authorities.
SAP SYSTEM:
Ensure optimum usage of the SAP Enterprise Asset Management System (SAP EAM).
Regular accomplishment of work orders gathered in SAP.
Ensure SAP EAM data are reliable for the formulation appropriate enhancement on the maintenance process and the system itself.
OTHER TASK:
Actively participate in all company programs and activities under quality improvement, safety & security, sustainability, corporate social responsibility, risk management etc.
Performs other tasks related to the job as may be assigned by the immediate superior.
Qualifications
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENT :
Mechanical Technology Graduate or equivalent
WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIRED :
With at least 2 year experience working on mechanical equipment operation and maintenance
- With basic background on refrigeration (ammonia system) operation.
LICENSES:
- Certified Plant Mechanic or equivalent
CRITICAL SKILLS OR COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:
Ability to undertake trouble-shooting for plant machinery and equipment
Knowledge and understanding of plant technology
Working knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulics, refrigeration and air-conditioning, air compression and stream generation
Capable of interpreting working drawing plans
