Job Description
Job Objective
As a KPI Governance specialist within the Supply Chain Planning, Governance and Analytics (SC-PGA), your primary responsibility will be to establish, govern, and monitor the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) framework and reporting processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define relevant KPIs, establish performance targets, and ensure accurate and timely reporting of KPIs. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
KPI Framework Development: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and maintain an effective KPI framework that aligns with the CoE's objectives and supports performance measurement and improvement. Identify and define relevant KPIs for different functional areas within the SC-PGA.
KPI Governance: Establish KPI governance processes, including data collection, validation, and reporting procedures. Define roles and responsibilities for KPI owners, data custodians, and reporting analysts. Ensure adherence to KPI governance policies and guidelines.
KPI Definition and Documentation: Work with cross-functional teams to define and document KPI definitions, calculation methodologies, and data sources. Ensure that KPI definitions are clear, measurable, and aligned with business objectives.
Performance Targets: Collaborate with stakeholders to set realistic and challenging performance targets for each KPI. Ensure that performance targets are aligned with business goals, industry benchmarks, and best practices.
Data Collection and Validation: Coordinate data collection processes and work with data custodians to ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of data. Implement data validation checks to identify and resolve data quality issues or discrepancies.
Data Integrity and Quality: Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and quality of cost data by performing data validation checks, reconciliations, and data cleansing activities. Collaborate with data custodians to address data discrepancies and improve data quality.
KPI Reporting: Develop and implement regular reporting processes for KPIs, including dashboards, scorecards, and performance reports. Generate insightful and actionable KPI reports for various stakeholders, highlighting trends, performance gaps, and improvement opportunities.
Data Analysis and Insights: Analyze KPI data to identify patterns, trends, and areas for improvement. Provide insights and recommendations based on KPI analysis to drive performance enhancement and inform decision-making processes.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including process owners, performance managers, and data analysts, to ensure alignment on KPI definitions, targets, and reporting requirements. Engage stakeholders in KPI-related discussions and initiatives.
Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to enhance the KPI framework, reporting processes, and data collection methodologies. Recommend process improvements, automation, and data visualization techniques to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of KPI governance.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, data analytics, or a related field. Relevant certifications in performance management or data analytics are a plus.
Experience:
Proven experience in KPI governance, performance management, or data analytics, preferably within a Center of Excellence or similar environment.
Strong understanding of performance measurement concepts, KPI frameworks, and methodologies.
Proficiency in data analysis and visualization tools, such as Excel, Tableau, or Power BI.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
Familiarity with process improvement methodologies, such as Lean or Six Sigma.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively.
Knowledge of data governance principles, data quality management, and data validation techniques.
Proficiency in using productivity tools, such as Microsoft Office Suite or collaboration platforms.
