Job Description

Supervises the overall operations of slaughtering and meat fabrication, and ensuring compliance to set specifications and requirements while optimizing plant capacity, operational and economic efficiency.

Qualifications

Education:

  • BS degree in Industrial Engineering; BS Food Science; BS Animal Science;  BS Agri Business Management and other related fields 

Experience:

  • With one to Two (2)-year experience in food production or in supervisory role

 

Other Requirements:

COMPETENCIES 

I. Knowledge

  1. Working knowledge of production operation and capacity
  2. With training and working knowledge on GMP-HACCP
  3. Technical understanding of hog carcass and meat cuts
  4. Working knowledge of inventory control

II. Skills

  1. Leadership abilities and interpersonal relations
  2. Planning, analytical, numerical, problem-solving skills

6. Supervisory skills for training staff in Production processes

7. Excellent time management skills 

 

Additional Information

Food Safety:
> Complies with quality, Halal, health and food safety policy, standards and regulations of the company.
> Responsible for reporting problems related to Halal, food safety & quality management system to identified authorities.

Other Tasks:
> Actively participate in all company programs and activities under quality improvement, safety & security, sustainability, corporate social responsibility,  risk management etc. 
> Performs other tasks as may be assigned by the team leader.
