PILMICO ANIMAL NUTRITION CORPORATION, is a subsidiary of Pilmico Foods Corporation wholly owned by Aboitiz Equity Ventures Inc. We provide customers with high quality feeds for aqua, hogs, poultry as well as customized solutions for large farm accounts.
Since we started in 1998, we have grown and diversified to include swine and layer operations in Tarlac.
Our swine and layer farms employ advanced production systems, with automated feeding and drinking systems. Climate control is achieved in the barns through tunnel ventilation and evaporative cooling system. Our swine genetic program and pullet source selection on the other hand, ensures that we only produce quality market hogs and layers. Strict biosecurity measures are also in place to protect the animals from bacterial and viral disease exposure.

Job Description
QA Food Safety and Regulatory Specialist
The QA - FSR (External) is responsible for the design, development and deployment of the Meat Business Unit Food Safety and Regulatory Systems. He/She ensures the compliance of the Meat Business Unit (Meat Operations and External Stakeholders) with the Food Safety, Statutory and Regulatory Requirements.
Develops and delivers tailored training programs, including Food Safety and other relevant topics, to external stakeholders, ensuring they stay up to date with industry standards, regulations, and company policies, such as GMP/GOP/GWP, HACCP, FSSC, and ISO standards.
Develops and implements tailored training programs using technical and non-technical language for external and internal customers.
Responsible for the establishment, implementation and continual improvement of Supplier Quality Program.
Conducts regulatory, third party and customer audits and ensures the timely execution and completion of subsequent corrective actions and reports.
Conducts internal audits (TGMs and Retail Concessionaires) based on applicable food safety system standards.
Conduct Trade Checks in the market to determine if product handling at the end-user is aligned to the specified standards.
Coordinate regulatory programs and activities with the city/provincial/municipal governments, when applicable.
Establish and design document management systems of the organization especially on giving support to the Food Safety Team in the establishment of Food Safety Manuals, Work Instructions and SOPs especially to External Stakeholders.
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor degree holder of BS Food Science/ Technology, Biology, Chemistry, Chemical Engineer or any science-related field.
Experience:
Preferably with at least three (3) years of working experience in Quality Assurance in the Food Manufacturing Industry or any related discipline.

Performs goods inspection process under the SAP-QA module.
Performs goods receiving process under SAP-QA module.
FOOD SAFETY:
- Complies with quality, health and food safety policy, standards and regulations of the company.
- Responsible for reporting problems related to regulatory, food safety & quality management systems to the immediate team leader and/or identified authorities.
OTHER TASKS:
- Actively participate in all company programs and activities under quality improvement, safety & security, sustainability, corporate social responsibility, risk management etc.
- Performs other tasks that may be assigned by the immediate team leader from time to time
