Job Description

The Inventory Analyst is responsible for managing day-to-day inventory operations. Primarily works with Retail Stores Operations to ensure accurate inventory of company's items.

  1. Coordinates with Retail Operations to ensure efficient processing and availability of products. Covers from receiving of items in Retail stores, transforming those from one SKU to another, up to dispatch or selling.
  2. Establishes and updates Min/Max inventory levels for all Company owned and Customer managed inventories, based on historical and forecasted usage, lead times, production times, and minimum order quantities.
  3. Ensure a high level of internal and external customer service. Investigate (and correct) customer issues and complaints relating to inventory accuracy.
  4. Escalate as necessary to upper management on stock levels, issues, etc.
  5. Provide routine management information on inventory performance.
  6. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate consistent replenishment as appropriate through communication and escalation to production, customer/vendor fulfillment, warehouse transfer, etc. as necessary to maintain sufficient stock to support customer service level agreement requirements.
  7. Pull data and create internal and external reports for productivity, quality, and efficiency.
  8. Collaborate with Sales, Production and Planning Specialists to supply requirements to support demand, coordinate cycle counting, reporting, and inventory control as necessary to support company and customer requirements.
  9. Updating and monitoring of data in ERP, RFP/SL or Oracle Systems
  10. Control and Monitor of Returns, Rejects, Aging and Condemnation Items

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

Bachelor’s Degree

EXPERIENCE:

Two or more years experience in Inventory control management  in a manufacturing / technical role where inventory planning and count competencies are established, utilized and adhered to.

  • Proven working experience as an inventory analyst

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization

  • Experience with gathering, formatting, and analyzing data.

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel

  • Self-motivated in a fast-paced environment.

  • A strong analytical mindset and attention to detail.

  • Experience working with a distribution ERP system preferred.

  • Knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods

  • Ability to interpret analysis results and recommend or implement actions with minimum oversight.

  • Excellent oral and written communication abilities. Comfortable taking the lead in conversations with internal teams and external partners.

  • Excellent at organizing priorities and information.

  • With background in handling inventory.

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills 

  • Able and willing to do physical activities such as lifting product in crates and in boxes

  • Computer Literate especially on excel and gsheet

  • Willing to learn
