Job Description

Phoenix American Financial Services provides investor administration services to investment companies through our state-of-the art investor administration system, STAR. We are looking for a Sales Coordinator to assist our team in growing our fund administration and fund accounting services.

POSITION SUMMARY

The Sales Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Senior Director of Sales by supporting sales efforts in Investment Administration and Fund Accounting services. The Sales Coordinator may also participate in marketing-related activities as needed for information gathering and to communicate the value of the product to prospects. They will generate calling lists for prospective clients, schedule product demos and perform follow up such as sending marketing literature and scheduling call backs to advance the prospect in the sales cycle.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES including the following (other duties may be assigned).

  • Oversee daily management and reporting of Convergence software to identify potential new leads;
  • Conduct additional research on prospects and identify opportunities to grow prospect list;
  • Disseminate product value and marketing information through direct mail and e-mail campaigns;
  • Create and deliver weekly status reports to Senior Director of Sales and CSO;
  • Responsible for full coordination of Company’s attendance at annual conferences;
  • Work directly with sales management team in developing an ongoing working plan for expanding revenue opportunities with existing clients.
  • Manage internal CRM system; record activity and convert leads to potentials for ongoing Pipeline reporting to senior management.
  • Assist Senior Sales Director with pro-active marketing phone calls and follow-up items when requested.
  • Manage and organize Powerpoint presentations, marketing slicks, questionnaires and proposal documents for utilization in the field.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Experience with qualifying and selling financial services and/or software products to companies over the telephone;
  • Experience with running direct mail and e-mail campaigns;
  • Ability to work effectively and professionally with employees at all levels;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills;
  • Strong organizational and time management skills;
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Experience with sales tracking software and/or database systems such as Convergence a plus
  • Sales training and lead generation experience preferred
