Job Description
As an Enterprise Senior Business Development, you will be responsible for generating new enterprise meetings through outbound prospecting. You will call directly into strategic enterprise accounts and book meetings with the heads of network operations or similar senior leaders at major Fortune 500 companies. 90% of your time will be focused on securing meetings with new clients; and 10% of your time would be spent on partnerships.
Responsibilities include:
- Secure meetings with senior leaders at global telcos, MSPs, retailers, and banks through thoughtful outreach, networking, and conference engagement.
- Support conference and event strategy to drive pipeline, visibility, and partner engagement.
- Engage partner sales teams to open opportunities with account directors and regional leaders.
- Contribute to shaping our partnership and ecosystem strategy as we scale.
- Lead partnership discussions with key partners including Cognizant, ScienceLogic, Microsoft, and ServiceNow.
- Recruit and onboard industry Advisors (former executives at target accounts) to expand our reach.
- Book 5-6 qualified meetings per month.
- Work on a focused account list of strategic enterprises.
- Drive high volume outbound activity through calls, emails, and sequences.
- Quickly articulate the company’s value proposition and connect pain points to outcomes.
Qualifications
- 4-8+ years of enterprise SaaS sales experience.
- Learn-it-all mindset with strong drive, curiosity, and coachability
- Proven track record of booking meetings with enterprise leaders.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with confidence, reaching out to senior stakeholders and executives.
- Professional, confident, and comfortable engaging senior leaders and partners warm and cold by phone and in person.
- Able to build rapport quickly with senior leaders and partner organizations.
- Organized, proactive, and motivated to create new opportunities and relationships.
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to prioritize, multitask, perform well under pressure, meet deadlines, and wear multiple hats.
- Excited to work in a startup environment; you have a track record of being adaptable to changing priorities in a fluid, high-growth environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Organized, accountable, and able to work with urgency.
