Job Description
We are seeking a Director of Technology to lead the development, implementation, and oversight of all technology processes, systems, and standards across the organization.
This role serves as the central authority for technology direction, ensuring scalability, security, and innovation across multiple business lines—including integrated building technologies, telecommunications systems, and digital platforms.
The ideal candidate will combine strategic leadership with hands-on technical expertise, driving operational excellence, compliance, and innovation across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities:
Technology Strategy & Leadership
- Develop and execute a unified technology strategy across all business units and service lines.
- Define, implement, and enforce technology standards, processes, and best practices to ensure consistency and quality.
- Build, mentor, and lead a cross-functional technology team, fostering a culture of accountability, growth, and innovation.
- Collaborate with the executive leadership team to evaluate and adopt emerging technologies that align with business goals and maintain competitive advantage.
Systems & Infrastructure Management
- Oversee the design, deployment, and lifecycle management of all hardware, software, and network systems.
- Ensure operational reliability, scalability, and efficiency of technology infrastructure across the organization.
- Manage relationships with vendors and service providers to ensure optimal performance and value.
Cybersecurity & Compliance
- Establish and enforce cybersecurity frameworks, data protection measures, and compliance with industry standards.
- Partner with finance and operations to ensure financial and regulatory compliance in all technology-related initiatives
- Maintain detailed documentation and ensure best practices for audits and risk assessments.
Product & Platform Oversight
- Lead the development and continuous improvement of digital platforms and mobile applications, ensuring alignment with business strategy and user experience goals.
- Support the technology needs of communications systems and unified communications platforms.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to ensure adherence to technical roadmaps and quality standards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Sales Engineering and Operations to ensure technology standards are met across all service deliveries.
- Coordinate with Finance and Accounting teams to maintain proper budgeting, reporting, and accounting practices for technology initiatives.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to leadership on innovation, infrastructure planning, and digital transformation.
Qualifications
- 7-10+ years of technology leadership experience, ideally within telecom, property tech, or integrated technology sectors.
- Proven success in systems integration, app development, and communications technology (VoIP/unified communications).
- Expertise in cybersecurity, cloud infrastructure, and application lifecycle management.
- Strong leadership, project management, and vendor management capabilities.
- Excellent communication and strategic planning skills, with the ability to translate technical insights into business outcomes.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred).
