Job Description

  • The Business Process Management (BPM) Mid-Level Consultant is required to support BPM client engagements, business development, asset development and internal operations.
  • Their work typically includes: Preparation, participation and follow up activities of client process workshops and engagements, As-is and to-be process modeling using tools like ARIS or Signavio.
  • Visualizing the impact of digital technologies through process models. 
  • Lead smaller work streams in consulting engagements. 
  • Conduct BPM Workshops. 
  • Developing presentations, spreadsheets and Word documents in preparation for meetings.
  • Conducting market and literature research in the area of BPM and preparing summaries of this research
  • Creating analytic tools (in Excel or on-line products like survey-monkey) to be used across clients
  • Engage with prospects to position and sell new consulting engagements 
  • Administrative tasks, like maintain customer master data and organizing training sessions.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS 

  • The role requires good analytical capabilities as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • This needs to be demonstrated in your education and ideally 1-5 years of work experience.
  • Professional training in  process management, tools like ARIS or Signavio, and any work-experience in this area is preferred. 

PREFERRED SKILLS 

  • An understanding of key areas of Business Process Management and keenness to develop in this area - Process modeling skills, ideally BPMN and/or EPC.
  • Process repository tool skills, ideally ARIS and /or Signavio skills.
  • Good problem solving and analytic capabilities.
  • Coordination, communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Self-starter not requiring significant supervision.
  • Organization skills and demonstrably high attention to detail. 
  • Disciplined and structured approach.
  • Willingness to work with clients in different industries.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint and Word).

ADDITIONAL NOTES 

Work will take place in different locations, depending on the type of activity. There are activities that can be performed working from home, client situation permitting. The consultant should be prepared to travel as  required to meet commitments. Travel to the office will NOT be compensated but any expenses related to client  activity will be reimbursed (subject to prior agreement).
