Job Description

System Support Analyst 1 will be responsible for workstation & server functionality, maintenance, and monitoring of software and hardware, within the Security & Compliance Technology department. This position will be responsible to review, analyze and evaluate user needs that support overall business strategies. The candidate will be involved in data management, backup, and will function as a liaison between the Security & Compliance Technology team and end-users, and have both business and technical expertise. 

 

Duties and responsibilities or (Essential Functions)

 

  • Install workstation operating system software, patches, and upgrades

  • To update and document client issues

  • To perform analysis and determine client problems, and document these issues

  • Create and maintain documentation of configurations and processes

  • Perform system backups 

  • To perform a cause analysis either on-site or at a client location.

  • Maintain an inventory of installed software and hardware

  • Apply policy and procedures within the Security & Compliance Technology department

  • Respond to after-hours system alerts, troubleshooting, and resolution

  • Analyze performance, identify areas of concern and implement action plans

  • Manage the process of creation, modification, and termination of user accounts

  • To assist customers for the purpose of improving processes related to system issues

  • To maintain error logs in coordination with the Security & Compliance Technology team, and to maintain resolution reports

  • Monitor and update malware prevention systems

  • Set up end user hardware and software

  • Analyze and resolve end-user requests

  • Document systems, analyze end-user support patterns, and assists in the creation of end-user training and support documentation

  • Projects a positive image of the organization to employees, customers, industry, and community

  • Embodies the culture, values, and tenets of PharmaCann and fully support our purpose, goal, and key objectives 

Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field will consider equivalent experience

  • Three years experience in IT systems

Proficient installing and configuring:

  • Microsoft Office Suite

  • Microsoft, Linux, and Apple Operating Systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • CCTV Security Administration

  • Access Control System Administration

  • Experience in G-Suite 

  • Experience in Google Cloud Administration

  • Experience in Azure

  • Experience in Hyper-V

 

Working conditions

 

  • Ability to travel to up 4 hours to support locations in the terrority

  • Ability to travel more than 4 hours to support locations outside of the terrority

  • Ability to travel to other states as necessary

  • Ability to pass state and federal background checks

Lift up to 50 pounds
