Job Description

The Senior Financial Analyst is a new role in a fast-growing company in a burgeoning new industry. This role will report to the VP of Finance and will have significant interaction with the Finance team and Pharmacann’s leadership.

 

Essential Functions/ Responsibilities

·        Budgeting, forecasting and control of the company’s cannabis Cultivation and Wholesale Distribution operations.

·        Assist leadership of the Cultivation and Wholesale Distribution unit with monthly management reporting vs Plan for production, revenue and operating expenses, as well as decision support and vendor management. 

·        Support the VP of Finance in preparation of total company business operations reviews and quarterly reporting to the company’s board of directors.

·        Strong analytical skills, including demonstrated experience identifying and quantifying complex problems and providing effective resolutions.

·        Detail oriented, excellent judgment and time management with ability to manage multiple projects and set priorities.

·        Ability to work autonomously as well as within a team environment.

·        Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

·        Strong research and organizational skills.

 

Qualifications

·        Bachelor’s in Accounting and/or Finance or equivalent with 3+ years of experience.

·        Finance or Accounting knowledge of manufacturing in a product environment

·        Intermediate to advanced skills in the MS Office suite (excel, PowerPoint, etc.).

·        Prior familiarity with planning systems and or CPM’s desirable but not required (e.g., Adaptive, OneStream, etc.)
