Job Description
On-Site Security will work in tandem with cultivation and operations to ensure the environmental, staff and inventory security standards at every phase of production at our cultivation locations.
Duties and responsibilities or (Essential Functions)
Ensure daily inspections of facility, cameras, alarms, including perimeter, are being conducted
Maintenance of the daily security blotter, visitor log and other logs.
Check-in employees and visitors ensuring proper access IDs are verified
Conduct thorough and effective searches of all individuals departing the facility
Ensure Facility is compliant by following all PharmaCann SOP's Monitor alarms, serves as a primary contact for emergency call ins and emergency calls for the facility alarms and responds to the facility as needed.
Leads and enforces security and safety of staff and campus, to include facilitation of Active shooter, Fire Drills: , emergency attendance coordinator and emergency response facilitator.
Responsible for assisting in conducting investigations of theft/diversion incidents with the highest level of confidentiality, and completion of incident reports associated with the incidents and investigations..
Provide guidance for security signage and locations
Maintain the integrity of the security system, including codes and functionality.
Manage relationships with 3rd party vendors including inspectors
Accurately file and maintain manifests and cash transaction logs after each delivery.
Assist with packaging deliveries, checking against the order form and verifying manifests.
Strong attention to detail and proven ability to audit and inspect finished goods on a weekly basis.
Assist in making arrangements for facility tours
Maintains confidentiality, uses appropriate discretion sharing information.
This role may be required to assist with other duties as assigned as well as in other functions of the operation including but not limited to cultivation, processing and warehousing.
Qualifications
State law requires that applicants be 21 years old to work for cultivation center
Previous security or law enforcement experience is a plus
Previous loss prevention experience
Steady employment history
Pass a comprehensive background check that includes a criminal history, and obtain and maintain state agent requirements
Valid driver’s license and ability to successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Record background check
Must be able to stand and walk for long periods of time
Communicates well with employees
Record information accurately
Demonstrate a positive, can-do attitude
Must remove all jewelry, including rings, brooches, watches, pins, earrings, necklaces and visible piercings. In addition, false nails, nail polish, false eyelashes and any other object that may possibly contaminate food is not allowed in the processing/production areas

Performs his/her duties in a safe manner and environment while adhering to all governmental regulations for this industry
Carries out all procedures in an efficient manner that also complies with OSHA regulations, PharmaCann SOP’s and all applicable procedures
Ensures compliance and accuracy involving all product tracking, product security, and product movement procedures
