Job Description

The Digital Marketing Manager will be primarily responsible for digital marketing including website development and maintenance, SEO/SEM, paid advertising, email marketing and e-commerce support.  Other responsibilities include supporting the Director of Marketing as needed with brand development, product marketing, advertising/media. This role will be a key contributor to the organization’s digital marketing strategy and integrated marketing plans to increase brand awareness, customer acquisition and retention and revenue.

The successful candidate will have a deep background in digital marketing but also have a strong acumen across the marketing mix spectrum. The Digital Marketing Manager will need to be adaptable wearing multiple hats and have a can-do attitude. It is critical that the candidate have a proven record of producing results in fast-paced, complex, and dynamic environments.

Duties & Responsibilities:

●      Be the architect of our digital strategy to increase channel engagement, growth, and drive increased traffic to our sites and our stores.

●      Serve as the organization’s digital marketing expert leading all digital marketing activities; must be knowledgeable of emerging technologies, trends and analytical tools.

●      Responsible for our SEO strategy including implementation and execution and tuning.

●      Responsible for online inquiry and demand generation of patients and adult-use customers through conversion optimization and for customer retention.

●      Manage website development, optimization and best-in-class user experience including mobile for corporate, retail and product websites, and online ordering and product content management.

●      Collaborate and plan on  inbound/outbound marketing and demand generation campaigns

●      Perform content updates in CMS for all digital properties.

●      Manage digital marketing budget.

●      Partner  and collaborate with Content Marketing and Retail Loyalty Managers to develop email/text marketing strategy for acquisition, retention and growth including drip campaigns.

●      Implement and optimize testing platforms and protocols.

●      Manage digital agency relationship.

●      Participate in enterprise-wide technology audit and assessment.

●      Establish and track key performance indicators to measure and report effectiveness and ROI of digital marketing.

●      Work closely with Social Media Manager on integrating efforts through social media.

●      Provide marketing support for development and maintenance of e-commerce platform.

●      Support Director of Marketing on product marketing including new product development, branding and promotions as needed.

Qualifications

 ●      7+ years of experience with minimum 5 years of digital marketing experience; start-up experience a plus.

●      Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, computer sciences or other related fields.

●      Experience with Google Analytics/Tag Manager required; Drupal and Wordpress preferred.

●      Strong knowledge of social media platforms

●      Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

●      Exceptional project management and multi-tasking skills.

●      Strong analytical skills and ability to translate insights into actionable plans.

●      Team player but can also work well independently.

●      A doer that can take concepts ideas to execution

●      Ability to thrive in a dynamic, complex, highly regulated  and evolving industry
