Job Description

The Production Assistant is responsible for supporting Dwight cultivation center and it’s production teams with
purchasing, production reporting, meeting coordination, managing incoming supplies, clerical, and other administrative
duties in assistance of the Operations Manager, and the rest of Dwight’s management team.

Duties and responsibilities 
 Perform purchasing duties as needed to maintain Dwight operation’s production supplies, spare parts, office
supplies, and other inventory as needed.
 Manage and document receipt of incoming equipment and inventory.
 Develop and complete weekly and monthly production reports, product data reports, and sales reports as
requested by Dwight management.
 Provide administrative support including filing, reporting, revising, entering SOP’s into the quality system and
training documents into QC system.
 Assist Dwight team on preparing shipping details, packaging and drop offs at post office, FedEx and UPS.
 Order and maintain supplies for the facility as directed.
 Take meeting minutes.
 Function as a notary public.
 Assist Dwight management team with travel plans and expense reporting submission.
 Responsible for arranging special event luncheons / breakfasts for Dwight facility.
 Lead special events and meeting planning and set-up for the Dwight facility.
 Manage facility cost savings data supplied by Dwight management teams.
 Assist with tracking KPI data.
 Assist security when needed.
 Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

 High School Diploma or GED required.
 2-5 years’ experience in a production or office environment.
 Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
 Ability to work within a fast-paced environment, manage multiple projects at the same time and prioritize by
importance.
 Ability to maintain confidentiality.
 Strong written and verbal communication skills.
 Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required, Google Suite proficiency preferred.
 Possessing, or the ability to obtain a certificate to operate as a notary public in the State of Illinois.

Working conditions

This job operates in an open office layout and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, and photocopiers. Occasional need to walk from department to department while maintaining GMP and follow standard operating
procedures.
Physical requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This employee is frequently required to stand, walk, use hands or feet, reach with hands and arms and may be required to lift up to 50 pounds.
