Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and results-oriented Business Development Executive to join PetroBot Technologies. In this role, you will be responsible for the frontline execution of our sales process, focusing on lead generation, initial client outreach, and supporting the sales lifecycle within the Oil & Gas and NDT sectors. The ideal candidate is a high-energy individual eager to build a career in technical sales and industrial services.
Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Sales Execution:
- Identify potential leads through active market research, cold calling, and professional networking (GeM Portal, LinkedIn, industry directories).
- Execute outbound sales activities to introduce PetroBot’s solutions to prospective clients in the Oil & Gas and NDT industries.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline by consistently following up on inquiries and marketing-generated leads.
- Support the Sales team in preparing presentations, technical brochures, and meeting materials.
Client Coordination:
- Act as the primary point of contact for initial client inquiries, ensuring professional and timely responses.
- Assist in scheduling meetings, site visits, and product demonstrations.
- Update and maintain accurate records of all client interactions and deal stages in the CRM.
Operational Support:
- Assist in the compilation of data for tender documents, quotations, and bid proposals.
- Coordinate with internal technical teams to gather necessary information for client queries.
- Track project timelines to provide status updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
Market Monitoring:
- Monitor competitor activities and track industry news to identify potential leads or market shifts.
- Report on daily/weekly sales activities and progress against individual targets.
Qualifications
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electronics, or Electrical preferred), or a related field.
- Experience: 1–3 years of experience in Business Development or Sales. Experience in NDT, Oil & Gas, or technical B2B sales is an advantage.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
- Mindset: Highly motivated, resilient, and comfortable with cold outreach and hit-based targets.
