Southern Hill Veterinary Hospital in Tulsa, OK is looking for a Medical Director to join our team. We are an established hospital with over 60 years of experience and with long-time clients/patients. Our Medical Director has 27 years of experience and has lots to offer clinically. Located in a highly desired demographical area of Tulsa, we operate a fast-paced small animal practice with a highly experienced staff and doctor.  We see patients by appointment or walk-in. 

We have U/S digital dental, Digital X-Ray, all IDEXX Internal Lab Equipment with areas of specialty services available such as Dentistry, Laser Therapy, Endoscopy (Rigid, Flexible) and more.  

We are in process of completing our AAHA accreditation requirements. 

Job Description

We are looking for a Medical Director to join our team, where you will make a difference in the lives of pets, clients, and the team. You will be a leader in the practice, taking pride in offering unmatched compassionate, high-quality care while ensuring our communication with our clients is clear and understood. You will partner with the practice manager in leadership, patient care, staff mentorship and development.

This practice has a loyal clientele and a strong community connection. We are located in a highly desired geographical area of Tulsa, OK.   Every team member is committed to furthering their skills and knowledge by remaining open to new ideas and practices. The hospital sees a variety of cases, from wellness visits to sophisticated workups. Our clientele is kind and expects high-quality medicine and comprehensive medical recommendations. 


  • 2+ of leadership experience.
  • Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to explain medical terms and conditions using simple language.
  • Availability to work some Saturdays
