A Bit About the Role…

The Order Entry/AR Specialist is responsible for receiving, processing, and revising any orders that are received via email or Electronic Data Interchange (EDI). This position works closely with our Operations team and other internal departments to ensure that the customer’s orders are completed in a time sensitive manner with a high degree of accuracy. Our Order Entry Specialist and is also responsible for supporting the AR Team with day-to-day operations.

Job Duties and Responsibilities…

  • Receive customer orders and order revisions via email or EDI, review for accuracy, and process in NetSuite
  • Process any order revisions as received
  • Work with the Trade Analyst to track and analyze missed promotions
  • Work with Operations team to validate all customer shortage claims
  • Other AR related projects as required
  • Accepts responsibility for the organizational goals by taking ownership of new and different duties and identifying new opportunities within the Finance department

Qualifications

Who We Want...

  • 2-3 years’ experience in a related position
  • Experience in CPG preferred
  • Customer Service-oriented personality – friendly, professional, determined
  • Proficient in NetSuite or a large ERP, and Microsoft Office
  • Detail-orientated, organized, focused
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to be entrepreneurial and methodical
  • Open to performing beyond own function and acquiring new skills
  • Results-oriented and process driven, with high expectations of self and team
  • Collaborative mindset with strength in effectively receiving and communicating feedback

Additional Information

Compensation: DOE
Role is temporary. Position is remote eligible.

Approximately 25 hours/week; must be available on Wednesdays & Thursdays
