A Bit About The Role...

The Regional Account Executive - NY is responsible for delivering the revenue and distribution objectives in and around Metro NY, leading majority business efforts with Dora’s Natural. This individual must be a doer, motivated, inspired, organized, creative, willing to roll up his/her sleeves with a strong work ethic.

Essential Duties...

  • Total sales Trade and Execution responsibility for Key Distributors and Retailers, focused on delivering Perfect Snacks Annual KPIs for the assigned territory
  • Drive new product/category distribution initiatives.  
  • Direct distributors, brokers, internal resources to accomplish sales and distribution objectives.
  • Manage assigned account budgets in proportion to sales revenue. A tight manager of trade spending
  • Delivers distribution, shelf management, pricing, and promotional objectives for assigned accounts and Distributors.
  • Monitors and maintains all expenditures to stay in line with sales revenues.
  • Identify new business opportunities. Has a hunter mentality.
  • Takes ownership for all execution and management expectations as the leader of the Dora’s business. These expectations include:
    • Dora’s Ride-Along-Retail Management:
      • Secure distribution voids, sell in all provide promotional programs, merchandise products on shelf
      • Expectations are a minimum 8 stores a day with Dora’s Merchandisers coordinated ride with a minimum of 3 days in the field at retail which includes the following:
        • Work with UDS Merchandisers with planned out coordinated routes
        • Walgreens and Whole Foods-Work with Dora’s Merchandising managers to ensure execution against corporate account priorities, as provided by the Perfect Snacks Sales Leaders. 
        • Ride with/be in steady contact with WFM team. Work with Field Supervisors 1 day a month -three (3) field supervisors. Coordinate with Dora’s eleven (11) merchandisers focused 100% on Whole Foods Market North East (WFM NE)
      • Act as Manufacturer Account lead with Dora’s retail team. Extensive communication and guidance to the Dora’s DSD team on top Sku’s priorities, pricing, void opportunities
      • Follow any of Dora’s retail and order procedures.
      • Follow-up with any ride-withs with outstanding issues.
    • Retail Chain/Headquarter Support
      • Manage NYC retail execution, headquarter/retail coordination, distribution, promotions, retail price management duties with Key Customers which include but are not limited to: Atlantis, Bolla, Food Town, Gristede’s, Key Foods, King Kullen, Morton Williams, Stew Leonard’s, and Quick Chek.
      • Setup coordinated headquarter appointments with Dora’s Chain Tam to present plans quarterly with each of their chains (Gene)
      • Creates and execute promotional calendar at Headquarter
      • Provide trade and incentive proposals to Perfect Management on what is needed to grow the business.
    • Re-Distributor Management
      • Manage NYC Distributor business as the Account Manager with a Go-To-Market strategy with BCS Royal, Fresh Direct, Harold Levinson, Resnick (coordinated, Dora’s, One Stop, etc)
        • This involved Headquarter presentations to their respective buyers
        • Account Plans laid out by customer for year
        • Trade Fund Management
        • Execution of void closures and retail pricing
        • Work with Distributor sales teams to secure distribution at retail (HLA)
    • Administrative Duties:
      • Responsible for Cresicor Management of Dora’s Distributors and retailers via a promotional plan
      • Setup an annual promotional calendar established for each retail customer to include, Dora’s, and all retail accounts which will be coordinated with the Cresicor Trade Planning tool.
      • Creates one pagers for the Dora’s sales teams by channel (Drug, Chain, UDS, WFM)
        • Product images with UPC’s and order
        • Promotional allowance
        • Trade Calendar timing
      • Analysis of the Dora’s/Market Data on largest opportunities as well as a plan to fill those voids.
    • Represent the company at national and regional/distributor trade shows/events to promote product sales.
    • Accepts responsibility for the organizational goals by taking ownership of new and different duties and identifying new opportunities within the Sales department.

  • Frequent ground travel – 65%, a proven “road warrior”

Qualifications

Who We Want...

  • 3+ years as a RSFM or RSM in the food/beverage industry
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience working with multiple retail environments preferred
  • Excel and PowerPoint Skills; must be competent in managing large data sets
  • Experience in sales planning and forecasting
  • Creative thinker with the ability to tell a story with data
  • Develop and manage scope, timeline, work plan and deliverables for projects; manage incoming project requests and maintain project queue
  • Ability to multi-task and work in fast-paced, high demand environment
  • Self-sufficient and highly detailed oriented
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively interface at all levels
  • Spirits organization, accounts and distributor network
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to be entrepreneurial and methodical

This is a remote position. Preferred candidate locations are in New York (Tri-State, New Jersey, SE Connecticut).
