Position Summary

The Brand Management team at Pereira O’Dell sets the vision for how we transform the brands and the businesses we work on. They are the stewards of our multidisciplinary approach and of the process. They keep us driving toward the desired shifts and outcomes we set out to achieve.

The freelance Brand Supervisor supports the Director of Brand Management in overseeing key projects and owning the day-to-day relationship between the agency and its mid-level clients. They have strategic understanding of the client’s business and industry dynamics, and are a critical piece of the agency engine in ensuring flawless execution.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Strong business acumen - Actively seek more learning on the business. Considered a go-to for your teammates on business-related information.

  • Brand stewardship - Responsible for smooth, daily running of overall account health, including timelines, budgets, production and analytics. Able to frame the business opportunities in both a briefing document and in presentation set-ups. Having a strong voice in the room to guide the team.

  • Project & process management - The brand and project lead on multiple projects. Ultimately responsible for high-quality, efficient agency output from beginning (client briefing) to end (delivery of final assets). Crystal clear communication with the internal team (written, oral and in person)

  • Client management - Create meaningful relationships with mid-level clients, across all departments. Responsible for managing the creative development process with clients. Responsible for the accuracy and clarity of any written document, including conference reports, before distribution to the clients. 

  • Account operations - Track project budgets and scopes, assessing estimates to actuals, managing PO process, as needed. Encourage and champion best in class operating practices.

  • Agency culture/vision - Creates space for and champions a diverse, inclusive and equitable agency experience, ensuring a breadth and depth of voices are considered in all stages of the creative process.


 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • 5+ years at a creative agency in account management or project management roles with complex, highly integrated campaigns and brands

  • Experience managing multiple campaigns and projects simultaneously

  • Experience in all aspects of production, including post-production

  • Experience with asset trafficking

  • Strong understanding of media plan details

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

  • Keen interest in the marketing, advertising and communications industry and staying up on industry best practices and campaigns

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Process-oriented

  • Strong writing skills

  • Proven track record of successfully leading projects through completion

  • Must be in-person in New York City. Will work East Coast hours
