Job Description

The SEM is responsible for managing all aspects of SEM for our clients, including strategy,
execution, optimization, reporting and billing. The ideal candidate for this role has extensive
experience building and executing end-to-end SEM strategy/planning efforts, has a solid
understanding of SEM best practices, and deep expertise using tools and technologies to inform recommendations and plans. Ideal candidates will have experience working within a full-service agency, and have a deep understanding of how SEM fits into a larger marketing mix and full consumer ecosystem.

Duties and Responsibilities:
● Plan, recommend, and implement all SEM aspects of cross-channel media campaigns
for clients
● Work with Data team to analyze and interpret search data to provide strategic
optimization recommendations
● Provide thought-leadership to clients and agency as it relates to search marketing

Requirements and Desired Skills:
● Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field
● 4+ years experience in SEM
● Very familiar with all aspects of search marketing across all platforms
● Experience and understanding of search management software (SA360) and web
analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe)
● Works well with cross-functional teams and as part of a larger strategic team
● Can independently strategize and produce effective presentations
● Analytically strong with proven ability to demonstrate data interpretation capabilities
● Self-motivated, requiring minimal supervision in a fast-moving, relatively unstructured
environment
● Has intellectual curiosity, (asking why? and what next?) and the ability to make lateral
leaps in thinking
● Passionate about the digital media landscape and makes a concerted effort to stay on
top of emerging trends
● Must be comfortable in a client-facing capacity and able to develop positive relationships
with internal and external counterparts
● Strong organizational skills, being able to manage multiple projects at once
● Experience creating Search strategies which result in business results
● Strong and persuasive presenter; ability to convey the complex simply
● Ability to work on-site and join client meetings or calls as needed
