Position: Provider App Proc Specialist (450764)

Skills: 

High school graduate or equivalent Required

2+ years experience in Managed Care or Healthcare environment. Required

Previous credentialing experience preferred Highly desired

Knowledge of credentialing systems such as VisualCACTUS preferred. Highly desired

1-2 years Medicaid experience preferred Highly desired

Details: 

The primary purpose of the job is responsible for coordinating the credentialing functions for the Plan. The Provider Application Processing Specialist coordinates all written communication to physicians, hospitals and ancillary providers to assure all credentialing information is complete for presentation to the Corporate Credentialing Department. Performs a variety of secretarial, administrative, and clerical duties for the staff of Operations department. Responsible for the efficient administrative support of the office

High School Diploma / GED

2+ years experience in Managed Care or Healthcare environment. 

Previous credentialing experience preferred 

Knowledge of credentialing systems such as VisualCACTUS preferred.

1-2 years Medicaid experience preferred
