Job Description: Ensure that school buildings and grounds are clean, safe, secure, and
in good repair during summer break.
Arrange physical spaces, equipment, and materials to support work and learning
Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Operate building systems (i.e., mechanical, electrical, heating, water) under the
direction of supervisors and lead workers.
Follow a comprehensive schedule of routine maintenance, such as cleaning
gutters, maintaining lighting, checking door locks and hinges, and verifying that
HVAC units are functioning properly and have clean filters.
Stay within budget by meeting weekly (or as needed) with KVCS leadership
about facilities issues.
Research and hire quality contractors for capital improvements and small
projects as directed by school leadership and assist in completion of small
projects and capital improvements.
Provide other related services as assigned.
Approximately 10 hours per week.
