Job Description

Role Purpose:

The People Operations Lead is responsible for leading People Operations and Shared Services across People Can Fly global studios, ensuring exceptional employee support through efficient, scalable and compliant HR operations.

The role is responsible for delivering operational People services across the business, including onboarding, payroll, immigration, mobility, employee administration, HR systems and internal movements. It will drive operational excellence through automation, AI- enabled solutions and continuous improvement.

As a leader within the People function, this role is expected to be highly hands-on, leading by example whilst building scalable processes, improving service delivery and supporting the business through practical, innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own global People Operations and Shared Services, delivering onboarding, employee changes, payroll, mobility, immigration and offboarding across all studios .
  • Own multi-country payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance and timely delivery.
  • Manage employee contracts, HR administration, benefits and personnel records.
  • Own immigration, work permits, internal mobility and global relocation processes.
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation, GDPR and company policies across all jurisdictions.
  • Own and continuously improve HR systems, tools and operational processes.
  • Drive automation through AI and digital solutions to improve efficiency, reduce manual effort and enhance the employee experience.
  • Identify, implement and optimise new technologies that improve operational delivery and scalability.
  • Build dashboards, reporting and operational KPIs to support data-driven decision making.
  • Simplify, standardise and continuously improve People Operations processes globally.
  • Establish and monitor service levels, KPIs and operational performance.
  • Lead, coach and develop a high-performing global Shared Services team.
  • Act as the escalation point for complex operational issues and support day-to-day delivery where required.
  • Partner with HR, Talent Acquisition, Finance, Legal, IT and business leaders to deliver exceptional operational support.
  • Lead by example with a hands-on approach, taking ownership, removing obstacles and contributing wherever needed.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years' HR Operations / People Operations experience.
  • Experience leading HR Shared Services or People Operations teams.
  • Strong knowledge of payroll, onboarding, employee administration, immigration and compliance.
  • Demonstrated experience implementing HR systems, automation or digital transformation.
  • Experience using or implementing AI-enabled tools to improve HR operations.
  • Experience building dashboards, KPIs and service metrics.
  • Advanced Excel and HRIS knowledge.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Fluent Polish and English

Nice to have:

  • Experience in the video games, software or technology industry.
  • Experience supporting multiple countries.
