People Can Fly is one of the leading independent AAA games development studios with an international team of hundreds of talented individuals working from offices located in Poland, UK, Ireland, US, and Canada and from all over the world thanks to our remote work programs.

Founded in 2002, we made our mark on the shooter genre with titles such as Painkiller, Bulletstorm, Gears of War: Judgment, and Outriders. We are one of the most experienced Unreal Engine studios in the industry and we are expanding it with in-house solutions called PCF Framework.

Our creative teams are currently working on several exciting titles: Gemini is our new project being developed with Square Enix; Maverick is a Triple-A game developed in collaboration with Microsoft Corporation; Bifrost & Victoria are projects we're growing in the self-publishing model. We are also busy working on a VR and undisclosed projects, more information on those to come later.

Job Description

  • Acting as Senior HR Business Partner for our leadership team in Europe (key territories: UK, Ireland, and Poland)
  • Executing the global HR Strategy in partnership with the European Studio Head, focused on developing and retaining our most valuable assets - our people
  • Support the execution and delivery of the leadership development program
  • Support & coach internal managers in day-to-day leadership challenges incl. resolving complex employee relations and work issues.
  • Facilitate workshops on soft skills, running L&D initiatives.
  • Support the global performance review process to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within the organization.
  • Actively participate in the HR BP OKRs to support their successful implementation.
  • Identifying other HR projects, building new HR procedures, processes, tools, and initiatives
  • Additionally, to HR functions, being our local representative and supporting PCF’s operations in Dublin; being the first point of contact and providing support for all local employees, as well as general office and administrative coordination.
  • Be our local brand ambassador, working closely with the Marketing team to build a local presence in Ireland, and helping to make PCF a preferred employer.
  • Must be available to be in the Dublin office at least 3 days a week.

Qualifications

  • At least 8 years of experience in the HR field, with at least three years as an HRBP.
  • Proven success in HR BP role in Ireland, and experience working with Ireland/UK or EU business model.
  • Experience in running HR development programs.
  • Practical knowledge of office administrator responsibilities and strong organizational skills.
  • Fluency in English (fluency in Polish will be a plus, but is not mandatory).
  • Caring personality with strong interpersonal, communication, and coaching skills.
  • Excellent ability to prioritize, problem-solve, demonstrate initiative, think and act outside of the box.
  • High work ethic and self-motivation.
  • Proactive, responsible, dynamic attitude and hands-on approach.
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced startup environment will be a plus.
  • Passion for video games.
  • Deep understanding and passion for the gaming industry is preferred.
