Founded in 2002, we made our mark on the shooter genre with titles such as Painkiller, Bulletstorm, Gears of War: Judgment, and Outriders. We are one of the most experienced Unreal Engine studios in the industry and we are expanding it with in-house solutions called PCF Framework.

Our creative teams are currently working on several exciting titles: Gemini is our new project being developed with Square Enix; Maverick is a Triple-A game developed in collaboration with Microsoft Corporation; Bifrost, Victoria and Dagger are projects we're growing in the self-publishing model. We also have one project in the concept phase – Red; as well as two projects in VR technology – Green Hell VR and Bulletstorm VR - an exciting VR version of our cult-classic shooter.

YOUR AVIATOR JOURNEY BEGINS
As a Junior Graphic Designer, you will play a role in crafting high-quality visuals for global and internal materials, contribute to the dynamic creative process of our brand team, and gain valuable experience in the vibrant world of video game marketing.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
As a Junior Graphic Designer for the brand team at People Can Fly, you'll closely collaborate
and report to the Lead Graphic Designer, Marketing Director, as well as receive guidance from various brand stakeholders. Your primary focus will be ensuring the creation of on-brand and visually consistent marketing materials for our diverse range of gaming products. This involves working with the Adobe Suite of graphic design tools to deliver compelling content that reinforces a product’s brand identity while resonating with both internal teams and the public.

  • Collaborate closely with the creative team and stakeholders in the brand team to develop visually stunning design solutions for various IPs, actively participating in the creation, and application, of brand guidelines for marketing materials.
  • Ensure all created assets meet the required quality standards and are coherent with the established visual direction of each brand and IP.
  • Produce a comprehensive range of assets for external marketing and social media platforms as well as internal branding and employee materials.
  • Propose creative solutions to design challenges and provide your vision to stakeholders through effective communication while maintaining a collaborative mindset.
  • Help facilitate the asset review process, receiving feedback on your creations from various stakeholders based on their brand knowledge and expertise.
  • Anticipate the needs of the brand team within each project, proactively streamlining productivity, and contributing to the overall success of marketing initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest design trends, techniques, and technologies in the gaming industry.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in graphic design.
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency in industry-standard design software, including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
  • A portfolio showcasing creative and diverse design work, with an emphasis on branding and marketing materials.
  • Understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and composition.
  • Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring a high level of quality in all design outputs.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Ability to communicate seamlessly in an international setting.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously while consistently meeting tight deadlines.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving brand strategies and contribute to the continuous improvement of an IP's brand's identity.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to present and explain design concepts.
  • Exemplary commitment to hard work and innate self-motivation, ensuring tasks are accomplished with excellence.
  • Effective English communication skills both verbally and in writing.
  • Passion for video games and a keen interest in staying updated on industry trends
