Founded in 2002, we made our mark on the shooter genre with titles such as Painkiller, Bulletstorm, Gears of War: Judgment, and Outriders. We are one of the most experienced Unreal Engine studios in the industry and we are expanding it with in-house solutions called PCF Framework.

Our creative teams are currently working on several exciting titles: Gemini is our new project being developed with Square Enix; Maverick is a Triple-A game developed in collaboration with Microsoft Corporation; Bifrost, Victoria and Dagger are projects we're growing in the self-publishing model. We also have one project in the concept phase – Red; as well as two projects in VR technology – Green Hell VR and Bulletstorm VR - an exciting VR version of our cult-classic shooter.

Job Description

  • Responsibility for tax policy and strategy of the Company and the Group in accordance with local and international regulations - General Representative,
  • Identification of changes in the applicable tax regulations concerning the Company and the Group, regular monitoring of regulations, implementation of changes in processes and procedures,
  • Addressing threats and opportunities related to planned changes in tax law,
  • Creation and implementation of tax procedures, control of the tax strategy adopted by the Company and the Group,
  • Contact with tax offices, handling correspondence as part of verification activities and tax audits,
  • Preparation of tax calculations and declarations,
  • Support in the analysis of new transactions and business models in terms of tax regulations,
  • Support for other departments in the field of tax issues in contracts and business processes,
  • Searching and proposing tax exemptions/credits suitable for the business of the Company and the Group (R&D, etc.),
  • Preparation of Transfer Pricing documentation together with benchmark or other required analyzes for the Company and the Group,
  • Analysis and reporting of tax schemes (MDR),
  • Cooperation with external tax advisors on non-standard issues,
  • Ad-hoc activities, projects and works related to the area of ​​taxes.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in the field of taxes, preferably gained n a multinational environment,
  • University degree, preferably in an accounting/finance area, law or postgraduate studies in tax law or courses in tax law,
  • Qualifications of a Tax Advisor would be an asset,
  • Fluent English,
  • Strong practical knowledge of taxes (CIT, WHT, VAT, etc.) and IFRS will be an advantage,
  • Professional expertise in Excel,
  • Drive and ambition to challenge the status quo,
  • Ability to handle independently a variety of complex task s,
  • Ability to work under pressure in a deadline-driven, dynamic environment,
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
