Project Gemini is a yet unannounced AAA game developed with Square Enix – the publisher of our recent AAA title, Outriders. The game development involves primarily our Europe based teams.

Job Description

  • Designing, implementing and maintaining audio systems and overall architecture under lead supervision

  • Testing existing systems and proposing new systems and features implementations whenever is cost-effective

  • Creating performance and memory optimization Tools and Features

  • Testing, debugging, profiling, optimizing and documenting implementations

  • Actively attending code reviews


  • Strong C++ knowledge

  • Solid software engineering experience

  • Knowledge of audio processing tools and terminology

  • Understanding of digital signal processing as it relates to audio processing

  • Passion for writing solid, reliable, efficient code and highly scalable systems

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

  • Open-minded team player attitude

Nice to have

  • Experience with Unreal Engine 4

  • Shipped-title experience

  • Knowledge of digital signal processing algorithms as they are used in audio processing

  • Knowledge of audio programming middleware’s (WWise, FMOD) and of UE4 built in audio system;

  • Understanding of audio processing tools such as samplers, synthesizers or DAWs

  • Experience working with multithreaded systems

  • Performance and memory optimization skills

  • Console experience, especially next-generation systems

  • BS (or higher) in Computer Science or similar discipline (Physics, Math, EE, etc.)
