Job Description

The position entails a combination of Project Management, Business Analysis, and Testing tasks:

• Elaboration and maintenance of IS quality control procedures.
• Provision of quality plans and service level agreements.
• IS Quality control and evaluation.
• Provision of quality studies, quality assessments or other quality matters associated with information system projects.
• Identify and elaborate test cases in collaboration with application developers, analysts and business representatives and support to the construction of test scenarios and scripts.
• Execution of assigned tasks and recording of daily progress within the supporting planning tools.
• Definition, elaboration, management and reporting of quality tests.
• Advice on quality improvements.
• If required, help IS Testers in tests case and test scenario execution on different platforms and browsers of the integrated systems, including defect creation and defect follow-up.
• Advice on test automation strategy and identification of regression tests including maintenance of test script repositories for updates to existing software.
• Assistance in the implementation of project management methodology.
• Help to identify project and product risks from the quality control perspective.
• Coordination of test campaigns.
• Depending on the circumstances, the manager may be requested to provide assistance or support in the resolution of production issues.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of testing technologies, tools and techniques.
• Good knowledge of information system quality assurance and quality control practices.
• Experience with quality procedures.
• Good knowledge of information systems lifecycle.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g. Agile, RUP).
• Knowledge of Test Management and Defect Tracking tools.
• Experience in the test data management with relational databases.
• Capable to communicate effectively with different actors involved (testers, developers, management etc.).
• Experience in the use of Atlassian collaborative tools (e.g., Confluence and Jira) and Microsoft Office Tools (e.g., PowerPoint).
• Ability to give business and technical presentations.
• Ability to apply high quality standards.
• Very good communication skills with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Analysis and problem solving skills.
• Capability to write clear and structured technical documents.
• Ability to participate in technical meetings and good communication skills.
