Job Description

  • Exhibit a passion for Penelope Bourbon
  • Represent and uphold our brand values in all interactions with teammates, consumers, customers, and trade partners
  • Learn the Penelope Bourbon brand story, product assortment, and blending process to be able to share that information with retailers, distributors, consumers, and clubs/groups in your area
  • Be the face of Penelope Bourbon and develop strong relationships with consumers through high quality in-store tasting experiences and whiskey events. 
  • Provide insights and feedback loop to the leadership, marketing and sales teams about the brand within your particular market
  • Public speaking – can present confidently in front of groups of up to 25 people. Can answer questions in a professional manner; Can speak loudly and clearly.
  • Respect all Penelope employees teammates and become a key team player on which others can rely 
  • We are currently looking for talented part-time and/or independent contractors in all regions including New England, Maryland/DC, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Tennessee, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Illinois.

Qualifications

  • Over the age of 25
  • Education- Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 3+ years of sales and account management related field experience.  Having a background in hospitality and/or the alcohol industry preferred (strong knowledge of three tier system)
  • Availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule due to the needs of the business
  • Must be able to lead and speak in front of large groups of people
  • Knowledgable on CRM tools
  • Must enjoy working in a team atmosphere
  • Self-starter with a strong sense of urgency, adventure and entrepreneurial spirit
