Job Description

1.      Make Hotel and Restaurant reservations on the various system

2.      Confirmation of reservations and filing

3.      Follow up on tentative bookings, overdue deposits and allocate payments to reservations

4.      Make suggestions regarding the update SOP File with any changes/amendments to HOD

5.      Print and follow-up on the tentative reservations daily.

6.      Provide good service to guests to ensure that guest complaints are kept to a minimum

7.      Managing and answering large amounts of incoming calls

8.      Responding to inquiries and inserting details on the system software provided

9.      Log maintenance and housekeeping requests

10.   Manage winner circle enquiries by utilizing the gaming system

11.   Manage social media direct messaging

Qualifications

1.      Matric / Grade 12.

2.      Good organisational skills.

3.      Must be able to type.

4.      The incumbent must be fluent in English.

5.      Experience with Opera, Sabre, Dine Plan will be an advantage

6.      Experience in reservations will be an advantage

7.      Must have the ability to communicate effectively.

8.      Shift work and weekends is an operational requirement

9.      Must be computer literate in MS Office essential.

10.   Must have good organisational & administration skills.
