Job Description
Responsible for the overall planning, development, execution and management of all On-line Sports Betting operations and outlet across the group in order to maintain standards and service levels to maximise profitability and growth and ensure a world class On-line Sports Betting offering.
Duties and Responsibilities
Work with stakeholders to understand business drivers, help develop product strategy and contribute to delivering on plans that aim to deliver on the key business strategy and goals in relation to On-line Sports Betting;
Conduct product and market research, identify trends, interpret customer needs and translate them into a business plan for On-line Sports Betting;
Create and continuously develop a planned and real time content strategy, based on current and future customer needs, that supports the wider Marketing strategy and product offering;
Continuously improve on delivering site content that maximises traffic and retention;
Compile, implement and manage all policies, procedures, guidelines and controls for all On-Line Sports Betting operations and make changes as necessary;
Compile and manage the annual On-line Sports Betting operating and capex budgets;
Analyse and interpret financial data to identify and implement strategic projects and initiatives to enhance revenue;
Ensure the highest standards in system security and integrity and continuously monitor security compliance, maintenance and upgrades;
Timeously and accurately report on financial performance of all On-line Sports Betting operations;
Conduct ongoing competitive analysis to monitor position in the market and find opportunities for enhancement market share;
Ensure compliance with all relevant gaming and other legislation applicable to all Sports Betting operations;
Maintain vendor relationships, negotiations and purchases of On-line Sports Betting equipment and the implementation of new product offerings;
Accountable for maximised daily On-line Sports Betting revenue and effective management of costs through effective financial analysis;
Qualifications
Minimum Criteria
Bachelors’ Degree in business or a related field;
10 years’ experience in a gaming environment of which a minimum of 5 years should be at a Senior Management level across multiple operations;
Extensive knowledge of gaming industry and operations;
Sound project management skills and experience;
Ability to prepare, understand and analyse business strategies, financial statements and business plans;
· Strong numeracy and analytical skills;
· Proven managerial, problem solving and critical thinking skills;
· Good oral and written communication skills and strong report writing ability;
· Ability to exercise independent judgement within established policies;
