Job Description

MAIN JOB PURPOSE:

Supervise the Maintenance Operations within the specific discipline (Hotels & Public Areas) to the required Standards and in accordance with the Occupational Health & Safety Act

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Carrying out repairs and maintenance on all public areas and hotels

  • Attending to any breakdowns after hours

  • Controlling loss, abuse and breakage of equipment and to ensuring all equipment and tools are handled and stored properly

  • Developing a thorough knowledge of all public areas and hotels equipment

  • Setting up any temporary equipment as required by management

  • Assisting with the control of budgets for public areas and hotels

     

Qualifications

  • Matric / NTC III in a Technical field

  • Carpentry / Plumbing trade preference

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Public Areas and Hotels maintenance.

  • Computer Literacy (Word, Excel, Fidelio & BMS)
