Job Description

As a Guest Relations Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring that all guests enjoy a positive and memorable experience. You are a key representative of our resort and brand, and as such you will need to anticipate guest needs, and handle inquiries in a helpful and attentive manner. You will take personal responsibility for ensuring that all issues pertaining to guest satisfaction are met, and that follow up is completed in a timely manner. You will be proactive and innovative suggesting alternatives that meet guest needs, ensuring their delight with their experience.

The main responsibilities and duties of this position include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Establishing  and maintaining excellent and trusted relationships with our guests
  • Promoting our entertainment services to new and existing customers.
  • Promote the benefits our Customer Loyalty Programme to our guests and assist with guest functions.
  • Promoting the benefits of Group wide promotions and resort specific promotions 

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Matric / Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Communication Diploma or a PRISA PRO Diploma would be highly desirable 
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in customer relations role in a medium to large entertainment/ hospitality operation with 4/5 star experience.
  • Must be a team player who value togetherness  and possess a strong customer serviced focus mind-set.
  • Must have a warm personality with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Must be able to remain calm and controlled and able to provide solutions when faced with customers in stressful situations.
  • Must be able to work in a fast -paced environment and skilled at multi-tasking and follow up and be able to deliver within the deadlines.
  • Must be computer literate in MS Office and enjoy a hands on operations role

OPERATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Required to work in a smoking environment.
  • Shift work is an operational requirement.
  • You will be required to obtain a Gaming Board Licence from the Limpopo Gaming Board
